Who we are

Started with one racket, grown into a team.

Aces for Access was founded by Prathiksai Amathi, a varsity tennis player at Olentangy High School who simply wanted every kid in Columbus to have a shot at the game he loves. It started as one student's idea, and as it grew, other coaches, players, and volunteers joined in and made it their mission too.

"Put a racket in a kid's hand, teach them the game, and you give them a place to grow stronger, on the court and off."

Tennis gave Prathik discipline, patience, and confidence, and he wants every young athlete to have that same chance, regardless of what their family can afford. He's joined by a founding team who share that same drive: Aditya Balaji, Jashwin Pisini, Pariksith Pothamsetty, Harsha Ganduri, and Vihaan Singharia. For our whole team, this work comes from a shared love of the sport and a real desire to help kids build strength, both physical and mental, while giving back to the community that shaped us.

Aces for Access is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing completely free tennis equipment, court access, and coaching to underserved youth across Columbus. We're just getting started, and our first clinics are still ahead of us.

What we run

Three ways we get kids on court.

Clinics

Free Group Clinics

Open sessions for ages 10–18, combining fun, fitness, and stress relief through the power of tennis.

Coaching

Coaching & Mentorship

Six experienced coaches, our Aces, offer expert guidance and encouragement, ready to nurture growth on and off the court.

Equipment

Equipment Donations

Free tennis rackets and gear, so no child is sidelined by cost, theirs to keep, long after the clinic ends.

What we do

Four commitments, every clinic.

Every session we run is built around the same four promises to the families who show up.

A

Offer evidence-based stress relief through physical activity via coaching.

B

Donate accessible equipment and court time, free of charge.

C

Employ dedicated, background-checked volunteer coaches.

D

Run personalized group clinics and one-on-one lessons.

Working together

Open to partnership, wherever kids need a racket.

Columbus is our home court, but the mission doesn't stop there. We're glad to work alongside other clubs, academies, and nonprofits who want to get more kids playing.

Equipment sharing

When we have spare rackets, balls, or gear, we pass them along to other programs so nothing sits unused in storage.

Coaching resources

Our clinic plans, drills, and mentorship approach are free for other youth programs to borrow and adapt for their own courts.

Academies worldwide

We're open to connecting with tennis academies anywhere, helping students grow stronger, on the court and in confidence.
